Year-end Success StoryPam talks about her successful year Wow, year end brags? I'm going to sound like an ego-maniac, but here goes: I totally changed the way I eat. Even when eating crap (like last night when DH wanted take-out chinese food) I tend to eat to satisfaction, instead of eating until I can't fit anymore food in. I also started eating breakfast and making sure I had good sources of protein at every meal. I lost almost 30 pounds this year. I started a love-affair with weight lifting. We parted ways for most of December, but I recently started up again and I think I've found an exercise I can love for a long time. I went from a size 16/18 to a 10. My stress is down, my energy is up, and I feel emotionally stronger than I have in many many years. Final brag: I survived being separated from DH for some 220+ days, during which I managed massive home renovations, a full time job, and 3 pets. Everyone survived and in some ways, we thrived! I hope 2003 is just as good, though I'd prefer it if DH would stay home for that year Want to follow Pam's buddy journal? Take a peek!
